LCCM offers high-end custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and state-of-the-art medical and institutional casework. Company executives were eager to transform workplace culture from profit-focused to people-focused and be more intentional about developing future leaders.
Solution + Services
Over a five-year period, we deployed various activities related to leadership transition, team training, and professional coaching to help LCCM achieve its goal.
To ensure a ready-for-growth structure, we tested and modified hiring practices, refined the performance review process, and launched a concerted effort to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
To develop a cohesive team and dynamic workplace culture, we held large and small group training sessions utilizing Everything DiSC® tools like Agile EQ, Management, Crucial Conversations, Love Languages, Goal Setting, and the GROW coaching model. We provided monthly team training on The Five Behaviors®, focusing on productive conflict, communication, and leadership development. Throughout the consulting, training, and coaching process, LCCM implemented scoreboards and measurement trackers to monitor and evaluate progress.
Outcomes
LCCM was named a South Carolina Best Place to Work in 2023, and received the 2024 Small Business of the Year Award from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. In addition to these remarkable accolades, the company has experienced significant employee engagement, productivity, retention, and profit increases.
